Stokes Red

Developed by Rodney Stoke in Sommerset, UK. A dark red apple with a stripe. Bitter-sharp. Can be used for single-variety cider. Partially self fertile. Needs high chill to set fruit.

  • Fertility: Partially Self-Fertile, produces viable pollen
  • Growth Habit: Free standing tree growing to around 2 - 3.5m tall and 3-4m wide.
  • Rootstock: Semi-Dwarfing rootstock
  • Chill Tolerance: Needs high chill
